LuxConnect is proud to announce the successful completion of its annual audit under the Luxembourg National Pact “Business and Human Rights”. In addition to passing the audit, we have also renewed our status quo, reinforcing our dedication to ethical business practices.
Key highlights from the audit
The recent audit has recognized several notable achievements that demonstrate LuxConnect’s dedication to human rights and responsible business practices:
- Robust governance framework: Since signing the Luxembourg National Pact “Business and Human Rights” in 2022, LuxConnect has established a robust governance framework for human rights. This includes publishing our commitment on our website, alongside our Human Rights Report, which outlines our policies and progress.
- Integration into Diversity and Inclusion policy: Human rights considerations are primarily embedded within our Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) policy.
- Enhanced customer agreements: Our Master Service Agreement (MSA) with clients now includes specific clauses related to anti-corruption, social responsibility, and environmental responsibility.
- Dedicated Human Rights Officer and training programs: LuxConnect has appointed and trained a dedicated Human Rights Officer to oversee our human rights initiatives. Our employees also have access to human rights trainings, with additional sessions planned for the future.
- Whistleblowing mechanism: As part of our D&I policy, we have implemented a whistleblowing mechanism that enables employees to report any human rights violations confidentially.
- Human Rights risk assessment: A comprehensive risk assessment on human rights was conducted, identifying health, safety, and remote work as key areas of concern.
Commitment to continuous improvement
LuxConnect remains committed to advancing its human rights agenda and continuously improving its practices. Moving forward, we aim to enhance our risk analysis processes and complete a stakeholder analysis. Additionally, we are working on establishing more precise Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure our progress in this critical area.
