The Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA) is legislative measure intended to help EU financial sector organizations improve their resilience against cyberattacks. Overall, DORA places a key focus on securing information and communication technology (ICT). The act applies not only to financial firms, but also to third parties. It includes, among others:
- Credit institutions
- Payment institutions
- Electronic money institutions
- Investment firms
- Insurance managers
- ICT third-party service providers
In this context, LuxConnect can offer additional redundancy by providing installations in four independent Data Centers, spread over two remote sites – three in Bettembourg and one in Bissen. The main advantage is having one single point of contact for a secure and DORA compliant data hosting, but also having your sensitive data hosted in different sites all cross-connected.
The Digital Operational Resilience Act came into force on January 16th, 2023, and will have to be applied by member states from January 17th, 2025. Don’t hesitate to contact us if you need more information on our solutions.
